SUGIR is a new app specifically designed to help the small ecommerce shop owner to automate the shipping process. There are several fulfillment houses today that offer shipping, but do not offer an automated system that plugs directly into your shopping cart. This means a lot of cutting/pasting information across two systems that should be talking to each other.
That’s were SUGIR comes in. Easily connect it to your shopping cart, then connect your fulfillment house, choose your level of automation, then you’re done.
SUGIR is currently in development, with the first applications designed to work with the Magento eCommerce Shopping cart and Amazon FBA (Fulfillment By Amazon). The module will automatically send an order to Amazon FBA when it has been received, retrieve estimated shipping and delivery dates, then retrieve a tracking number once the product has shipped. It will then post the tracking number back to your site, then complete the order by updating the order status and sending an email to your customer with the tracking number.
Everything is customizable and configurable within SUGIR so that you control how and when you send shipment orders. Ship orders can go individually, in bulk, or at pre-defined times. Email or text warning alerts directly from SUGIR alert you to errors, shipment notifications so you can know as little or as much as you like.
